    A staple in the up-and-coming music scene of DC, Songbyrd Café is now hosting open mic nights! Stop by the inaugural performance this Thursday at 7. Scope some vinyl while finding DC’s next big musician. – more info

  2. Lewis Black @ The Warner Theater

    DMV native Lewis Black has decided to bless us with some standup. Best known for his role in Accepted, his brash style of comedy will leave you doubled over in laughter. Make sure to bring a second pair of pants. – more info

  3. The Secrets of Hidden Union Station

    Ever since 1907 Union Stations has allowed DC to run. If you’ve wondered what makes Union Station run this tour is for you. This Sunday get behind the scenes and down to the nitty-gritty at DC’s biggest transpo-hub. – more info

  4. Chuck Brown Band @ Pearl Street Warehouse

    Put on your dancin’ shoes for the Godfather of Go-Go’s band. The infectious rhythms of DC’s own Go-Go will have you bustin loose and gettin’ down. This is a don’t miss show. – more info

  5. Pinball Tournament @ The Black Cat

    If you enjoy playing the silver ball, The Black Cat is the spot for you. Every Wednesday they host IFPA sanctioned pinball tournaments for all skill levels. Come find out if you’re a pinball wizard!- more info

  6. Drake vs Kanye DJ Battle @ U St Music Hall

    Are you Team Drizzy or Team Yeezy? Come show out this Saturday as DJs throw a tribute party for two of Hip-Hops most influential. No Remixes, No Mashups, all original jams to get down to. – more info

  7. Budweiser’s Infield Fest @ The Preakness Stakes

    Sure it’s a bit far, but the Preakness is one of the year’s top parties. Besides the running of the porta-potties, they also have Post Malone, ODEZA, and 21 Savage for ya. Oh yea, and the horse race. – more info

    DC’s Pitmasters are putting their skills on display this Saturday. The Bullpen is the place to be for all thing BBQ.  Rockland’s and Sloppy Mamma’s, among others, are ready to fight for the title of BBQ King. – more info

  10. Friday’s at the Fountain Crystal City Edition
